Police dashcam shows motorbike theft brothers caught
Dashcam footage has been released showing the moment two brothers on stolen motorbikes were stopped by police.
Josh and Mark Bowler led officers on a chase on the A610 in Broxtowe, Nottinghamshire, before they were brought to a halt.
Police tracked down the pair after Josh, 21, stole a motorbike from outside a shop in Sherwood on 8 February last year.
His brother Mark, 19, stole the other vehicle in Bestwood four weeks previously.
The pair admitted dangerous driving, theft of a motor vehicle, and driving without insurance.
Mark also admitted handling stolen goods and drug-driving, while Josh admitted driving without a valid licence.
At Nottingham Crown Court Josh, of Lydia Gardens, Eastwood, was sentenced to 15 months in prison, suspended for two years.
Mark, of Gladstone Street, Heanor, Derbyshire, was sentenced at Nottingham Magistrates' Court to 12 months, suspended for 18 months.
