Flood-hit park and ride site in Nottingham set to reopen

The Queens Drive Park & Ride site has been closed since 1 January
A Nottingham park and ride site, which was closed due to flooding, is set to reopen.
The Queens Drive Park & Ride shut on 1 January, external just before Storm Henk caused disruption across the UK.
Operator CT4N said the site suffered "extensive damage" in the storm, which caused widespread flooding of homes and businesses.
The transport firm said the service would reopen on Monday after a clear-up and restoration of electrics.
CT4N said, external the Medilink bus service would now return to operating its full route between Queens Drive Park & Ride, the Queen's Medical Centre, Wilkinson Street and City Hospital.
Nottinghamshire was badly hit during Storm Henk, with the county council declaring a major incident, as water level peaks on the River Trent came close to the highest on record from 2000.
