Nottingham: Cordon put up as police attend 'serious incident'

A cordon was put in place at the scene
A cordon has been put up near a petrol station and a road has been closed after a "serious incident".
Officers were called to Meadow Lane, near Lady Bay Bridge in Nottingham, at 18:25 GMT on Wednesday.
A large police presence could be seen within the cordon, close to the Texaco garage.
Nottinghamshire Police said officers were at the scene of a "serious incident" and urged motorists to avoid the area while they investigate.
The force has been contacted for more information.
