Nottingham: Pedestrian, 73, dies after crash outside hospital

A 73-year-old man has died after suffering serious injuries following a crash outside Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre.
Emergency services were called to Derby Road, near to the hospital entrance, at about 19:30 GMT on 6 February.
Officers said John Withers, who lived nearby, was involved in the crash as he crossed the busy road.
He was admitted to hospital and died on 11 February.
Nottinghamshire Police said the two vehicles involved had been identified and recovered.
Sgt Craig Luckett said: "This was a tragic incident and our thoughts are with Mr Withers' family at this extremely difficult time."
