Nottingham drug dealer jailed after cannabis worth £47,000 found

A drug dealer has been jailed after cannabis with an estimated value of more than £47,000 was found.
Officers seized over 12kg of the Class B drug during a raid at Paul Singh's home in Hucknall Road, Nottingham.
They also found more than £9,000 in cash, designer clothes and small amounts of cocaine and MDMA.
The 42-year-old was labelled a "wholesale drug dealer" as he was jailed for two and a half years at Nottingham Crown Court on Wednesday.
He had previously admitted possession with intent to supply cannabis, the possession of criminal property, and two counts of possessing a Class A drug.
Nottinghamshire Police said the court heard Singh became involved with the illegal supply of drugs after a "substantial gambling habit" caused him to be in debt.
Sgt James Rimmington said: "It's clear Singh played a leading role in this drug supply operation and was living a fairly lavish lifestyle as a result of his criminal activity.
"He was involved in the large-scale dealing of cannabis, with the quantities involved suggesting he was mostly selling wholesale as opposed to selling directly to users."
Singh will be subject to a Proceeds of Crime Act hearing in May.
