Arrests after boy punched on Nottingham bus

The attack took place on board a bus from Strelley into Nottingham city centre

A 14-year-old boy was punched in the face and robbed of his phone on board a Nottingham bus.

Three boys, aged 13, 14 and 15, have been arrested over the attack, Nottinghamshire Police said.

The victim was reportedly approached by a group of youths while travelling from Strelley into Nottingham city centre on 26 February.

The teenager was struck and his mobile snatched before the group then fled the bus through emergency exits.

The three teenagers arrested on suspicion of robbery have been bailed while inquiries continue.
