Wollaton: Attempted murder arrest after pair stabbed in home

A police presence is expected to remain while an investigation continues

A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two people were stabbed in a Nottingham home.

Police were called to Harrow Road in Wollaton at about 20:20 GMT on Thursday to reports of an assault.

A man and a woman were taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

Officers believe the stabbing was an "isolated incident within a home with no wider risk to the public".

The area has been cordoned off while investigations are ongoing.
