Izabela Chalastra, 46, died in hospital on 7 March

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder two weeks after a woman died in hospital following a fire.

Izabela Chalastra was taken to hospital with critical injuries after a bungalow fire in Forster Street, Nottingham, on 1 March but died six days later.

The suspect, previously arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and released on conditional bail, has been re-arrested on suspicion of murder.

The 62-year-old remains on bail while police inquiries continue.

Nottinghamshire Police said it had spoken to a number of people in connection with the incident, but wanted to trace three Romanian women thought to have been in the area at the time of the fire.

Anyone with information has been asked to make contact with the force.
