Man charged over string of robberies in Nottingham

A man wanted in connection with a string of robberies in Nottingham has appeared in court.

Nottinghamshire Police said the 50-year-old, of no fixed abode, was arrested at a property in Sheffield on Wednesday.

He appeared at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Friday, and has been remanded in custody until his next court date.

Police said the offences he has been charged with occurred between 10 January and 29 March.

The counts include five robberies, four burglaries, theft of a motor vehicle, driving while disqualified and without insurance, theft from a shop, possession of a Class A drug and breach of bail.
