Loughborough man charged after weapons seized from car in Nottingham

A man will appear in court after being charged with weapons offences.

Police officers found a can of incapacitant spray, a kitchen knife, and a folded lock blade when searching a car on Peveril Street, Nottingham, at about 16:55 BST on 27 April.

A 63-year-old from Loughborough has been charged with possessing a knife in public and possessing an offensive weapon in public.

He will appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on 14 May.

The man has been released on conditional bail ahead of his court appearance.
