Officers arrested two men shortly after the suspected break-in

Two men have been arrested after two cars and a games console were stolen during a break-in.

Nottinghamshire Police arrested the pair, aged 23 and 20, after they were called to reports of a burglary in Georgia Drive, Redhill, at 04:24 BST on Tuesday.

Officers on routine patrol later stopped a car and found suspected stolen items, the force said.

The pair were arrested on suspicion of burglary and remain in police custody.

Detectives said one of the vehicles was found later on Tuesday.

Det Sgt Joanne Eaton, said: "This was a very upsetting experience for the victims and a very good bit of work by the officers involved, who spotted a vehicle they believed to be uninsured before pulling it over."
