Cherwell's Christmas park and ride scrapped
- Published
A Christmas park and ride service has been scrapped due to poor demand.
Cherwell District Council has been offering the Saturday service between Bodicote House and Banbury town centre for the past few years.
The authority said it could not sustain the "unpopular" service in the current economic climate.
Councillor Nigel Morris said Cherwell still offered cheap parking and now had more spaces with a temporary car park in Spiceball Park Road.
