A 21-year-old man has been charged with the murders of two women found dead at a house in Oxfordshire.

Officers went to the house in Ireton Court, in Thame, early on Sunday after a call from a member of the public.

The two women, aged 28 and 50, were thought to have suffered stab wounds, police said. A 19-year-old woman had also been injured.

Ensar Gol, of Ireton Court, a Turkish national, has been charged with murder and attempted murder.

He is in custody and is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court on Tuesday morning.

The 19-year-old woman is said to be in a stable condition and recovering in the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

Post-mortem examinations to establish how the two women died were taking place on Monday.

The women, who lived locally, are not expected to be named until later this week.
