Man charged with causing graffiti damage in Oxfordshire

A man has been charged in connection with a series of "SOAK" graffiti tags in Oxfordshire which caused more than £21,000 worth of damage in the county.

The 20-year-old from Oxford faces four counts of criminal damage, committed between 20 May and 24 September.

He is accused of causing £15,000 of damage to Oxford City Council property.

He also faces charges of causing £4,300 damage to Oxford Ice Rink, £1,800 damage to Parks Sports Centre in Wheatley and damage to a shop shutter.

The defendant has been bailed to appear before Oxford Magistrates' Court on 17 January 2012.
