Teenage girl dies after Hinksey Park cardiac arrest

A teenage girl has died after suffering a cardiac arrest in an Oxfordshire park.

South Central Ambulance Service said the girl was taken to hospital by air ambulance where she later died.

Paramedics were called to Hinksey Park near South Oxford Community Centre in Lake Street at about 13:00 BST, after the girl was found by a passer-by.

Police are treating her death as unexplained and are in the process of informing next of kin.
