Jayden Parkinson death: Bench unveiled in churchyard where she was found

A bench in memory of murdered teenager Jayden Parkinson has been unveiled in the the churchyard where her body was found.

The 17-year-old was found in the graveyard of All Saints Church in Didcot in December 2013.

She had been killed by ex-boyfriend Ben Blakeley and hidden in his uncle's grave. He was jailed for life in 2014.

The Reverend Karen Beck said her family wanted it to be something to remember her by and a quiet place to sit.

A garden built on donated land near the church opened in April

Blakeley, 23, from Reading, was convicted of murder on 24 July 2014 at Oxford Crown Court and was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 20 years.

A garden was opened near the church in April with the help of volunteers from employment charity Aspire Oxford and planted with some of Jayden's favourite flowers and shrubs.
