The plans have gone on display at the John Radcliffe Hospital
Plans for a £9m accommodation unit for parents of children being treated at Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital have gone on show.
Ronald McDonald House Charities, which provides free accommodation to families with sick children, said a new 60-bed unit would enable more parents to stay.
The proposals have gone on display in the charity's current 17-bed unit at the children's hospital.
The charity hopes to submit a planning application in March.
The current unit caters for children and their families from across the UK.

Sarah Legget recently stayed there with her husband while their son was undergoing surgery.
She described it as "a lifeline".
Without it she said the family would have faced expensive taxis and B&B accommodation.
"The stress would have just mounted," she said.
Funding of about £9m needs to be raised over the next couple of years before the expansion and relocation of the Ronald McDonald House can go ahead, the charity said.
