Cyclist killed in Oxford bin lorry crash

The collision happened on Horspath Driftway in Oxford on Tuesday morning

A woman has died in a crash between a bin lorry and a cyclist.

The collision happened in Horspath Driftway, Oxford, at about 08:50 GMT on Tuesday. The cyclist, who was in her 30s, died at the scene.

Her next of kin have been informed, Thames Valley Police said.

Officers urged any witnesses to the crash, which involved a white refuse lorry, to contact them. PC Ian Stevens urged motorists to check their dashcams for any footage of the crash.
