Mum of murdered teen wants to meet killer 10 years on
The mother of a teenager murdered by her violent ex-boyfriend has said she wants to "look into the eyes" of her killer.
Ben Blakeley strangled 17-year-old Jayden Parkinson, who was pregnant with his child, and buried her in his uncle's grave in Didcot, Oxfordshire, in December 2013.
He was jailed for life for her murder.
Boy, 10, asks Apple to change 'nerd' glasses emoji
A boy has started a petition asking Apple to change its "offensive and insulting" glasses emoji.
Teddy, 10, from Peppard, Oxfordshire, believes the icon, with its prominent front teeth, gives the wrong impression of people who wear glasses.
The proud specs-wearer has redesigned the emoji, substituting the toothy grin with a small smile.
Tributes to DIY store cat run over in car park
Tributes have been paid to a cat that became a popular community figure after living in a hardware store.
Steve the Cat, 14, spent his time at Wickes in Bicester, Oxfordshire - but was run over in the car park last week.
A Facebook page for Steve, with 2,200 followers, posted: "Thank you for all the love you have shown him over his years as a Bicester character. RIP."
Solar Farm 10-week consultation begins
A 10-week public consultation on plans to build a large solar farm in Oxfordshire has begun.
The 1,000 hectare (2,471-acre) facility would cover sites near Botley, Kidlington and Woodstock.
Photovolt Development Partners (PVDP) said its latest community consultation on the Botley West Solar Farm would run from 30 November until 8 February.
Four men charged over gold toilet theft
Four men have been charged over the theft of an 18-carat gold toilet from Blenheim Palace in 2019.
The £5m lavatory was stolen from the stately home in Oxfordshire shortly before 05:00 BST on 14 September.
Michael Jones, 38, of Oxford, and James Sheen, 39, face burglary charges. Frederick Sines, 35, of Ascot, and Bora Guccuk, 39, from London, are accused of conspiring to transfer criminal property.
