Sam Ryder plays live at Westgate Oxford

Sam Ryder surprised shoppers at Westgate Oxford as he promoted his new Christmas single.

The Eurovision star's festive song You're Christmas To Me is up against Wham's Last Christmas.

Centre director Brendan Hattam said locals "were over the moon to watch him perform in their own local shopping centre, and it certainly spread some festive cheer throughout the city".
