Katharine House Hospice arranges Christmas tree collection

The Christmas trees will be taken to a chipper and recycled

A charity is expanding its successful Christmas tree recycling service.

Katharine House Hospice in Adderbury, Oxfordshire, is arranging for them to be collected if people make a donation and register by 10:00 GMT on Wednesday.

Trees left outside homes from 08:00 on 9 January will be collected on either 9 or 10 January. They will be taken to a chipper and recycled.

The hospice provides specialist palliative care for adults with incurable illnesses.

It serves the area of north Oxfordshire and south Northamptonshire.

The tree recycling scheme covers the following postcodes:

  • OX7 4/5/6

  • OX15 0/4/5/6

  • OX16 1/9

  • OX17 3
