Oxford driver dies after car crashes into tree

A driver died when his car came off a dual carriageway and hit a tree in Oxford.
The man, who was in his thirties, died from his injuries following the crash on Sunday at about 22:50 GMT.
His white Hyundai IX35 was travelling along the A4142 Eastern Bypass Road, towards the Headington roundabout, when it hit a tree near Beaumont Road.
A passenger, a man in his 40s, is being treated for serious injuries at John Radcliffe Hospital.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said the driver's family had been informed and they were receiving support from specially-trained officers.
