A two-lorry crash closed a section of a major dual carriageway through Oxfordshire and Berkshire.

The collision took place on the A34 southbound between Chilton and East Ilsley early on Friday morning.

In a Facebook post, external, police said "luckily" no-one was seriously injured.

The road was closed for several hours for the recovery of the vehicles. Shortly after 10:00 GMT National Highways said the incident had been "cleared".

It said there were no longer "significant delays" in the area.

Earlier Oxon Travel reported delays in Oxfordshire of almost an hour.
