A five-year-old boy who died in two-vehicle crash had the "kindest soul", his family has said.

Teddy Hickman was in the rear seat of a Ford Focus involved in a collision with a motorcycle on the B4011 in Blackthorn, near Bicester, Oxfordshire, on Sunday.

He died at the scene.

In a statement, his family said: "He was loved by so many and brought immense joy to all our lives from the day he was born.

The motorcyclist, in his 40s, was taken to hospital with serious injures. The car driver, a woman in her 30s, and a nine-year-old child suffered minor injuries.

Teddy's family described him as "the light of our lives and our entire world".

"He was the most beautiful little boy inside and out with the cheekiest smile," their statement said.

"He was funny, loved to play tricks and so very clever.

"Teddy had the kindest soul, the most caring little boy who we will forever be proud of, the greatest privilege of our lives.

"He was loved by so many and brought immense joy to all our lives from the day he was born.

"We would ask for time and privacy to grieve the immeasurable loss of our little boy."

Following the crash, at the junction of Thame Road, Blackthorn at about 14:00 BST on Sunday, Thames Valley Police appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
