Southampton: Fire crews tackle blaze at Zen Japanese restaurant

The fire started at the old Zen Japanese restaurant in Southampton
Fire crews have worked during the night to put out a blaze at a derelict building in a city centre.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service was called to the old Zen Japanese restaurant in Southampton at 21:00 BST on Friday, on the corner of High Street and Bernard Street.
Crews were at the scene for several hours while they dampened down hotspots and carried out an investigation, with road closures in place.
There were no reported injuries.
Crews from St Mary's, Redbridge, Hightown, Totton and Eastleigh tackled the fire, with six fire engines in attendance.
