New nature reserves planned for Telford

Plans are being drawn up for new nature reserves in a Shropshire town.
Sites at Madeley Pitmounds, Madebrook, Stirchley Dingle and Dothill Park, all in Telford, have been proposed by the borough council.
Michael Barker of Telford and Wrekin Council said it was hoped the rich areas may be explored on foot and bike.
Shropshire Wildlife Trust has called for new local nature reserves to be established to help protect the town's green spaces from development.
