Developers get Oswestry supermarket boost
- Published
Developers are a step closer to building a new supermarket in Oswestry, after the government said it would not be calling the plans in.
Outline permission has been granted for the site on the Smithfield market site.
The 75,000 sq ft development would also include a cinema, restaurants, a petrol station, dental clinic and offices.
A spokesman for Mercian Developments said the scheme still needed full planning permission, but it did not believe that would not be a problem.
