Prince William's former colleagues at RAF Shawbury have said they will be watching his wedding and celebrating.

The prince and Prince Harry both spent time at the Shropshire base where they trained as helicopter pilots.

Station Commander Gp Capt Bunny James said everyone at the base was delighted for the prince and Kate Middleton and wished them luck.

William graduated from Shawbury in January 2010.

Gp Capt James said as a former trainee on the base and as a serving RAF helicopter pilot, Prince William, known as Flt Lt Wales, has a special affinity with the base.
