Telford town centre owners say leisure complex 'likely'

The town centre could include a new multiplex cinema and restaurant complex

The owners of a Shropshire town centre say they are bringing forward discussions with cinema operators for a new multiplex.

The plans are part of a review by developer Hark of Telford's retail and leisure future.

A Hark spokesman said: "We are excited to announce this (the review) is likely to include a new multiplex cinema and restaurant complex."

The company has also released an image of what the complex could look like.

He added: "As the preliminary image shows, this is a striking new development which marks the next phase in our plans to regenerate the town centre."
