A children's hospice in Shropshire is opening a new £1.5m counselling centre, thanks to donations.

The Sunstone Counselling Centre was built next to the Hope House Children's Hospice at Morda, Oswestry.

It will enable the hospice's existing specialist counselling team to extend support to more children and families, Hope House said.

The centre, with rooms for individual and group counselling, was opening on Thursday.

It has been funded thanks to donations from individuals, groups, companies and trusts.
