Shropshire charity cycle event in memory of policeman
- Published
People in Shropshire have been cycling indoors in a bid to raise more than £1,000 for charity in memory of a Shrewsbury policeman.
Bodytech Health Club hoped about 60 members would take part as a tribute to PC Noel Metcalfe, 34, who died from cancer in 2010.
The spinathon took place in Shrewsbury, Oswestry, Whitchurch and Market Drayton.
Money will go to the Severn Hospice charity, which cared for Mr Metcalfe.
The cycle event started at 10:00 GMT and ended at 14:00.
