Shrewsbury walk-in centre could move to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital

A walk-in centre serving about 34,000 patients a year could move to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

The centre at Monkmoor Road, Shrewsbury, could move into vacant office space next to the hospital's A&E department.

Experts say it would mean people with a minor injury or ailment being seen by appropriate health professionals.

Telford & Wrekin Clinical Commissioning Group is looking into a similar idea at the Princess Royal Hospital.
