The Red Arrows have wowed the crowds during an air show to mark the Royal Air Force's centenary year.

The aerobatic team was the centrepiece of the RAF Cosford Air Show, attended by up to 60,000 people in Shropshire.

There were also 100 static planes on show, and further displays by the likes of the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team.

Organisers said early arrivals had been "unprecedented" and queues for the event were longer than normal.
