The group described the vehicle as its "best minibus"
A community group's wheelchair-accessible minibus that was stolen has been found abandoned.
The 13-seater vehicle was taken from a car park in Severn Street, Bridgnorth, overnight on Tuesday.
Bridgnorth Community Transport Group said a resident had called to tell them it had been dumped in Bilston in Wolverhampton, 17 miles (27km) away.
Secretary Peter Lindsell said it had been damaged but it was a "relief" to have located it.
The organisation previously said the theft would affect its ability to help disabled people get around.
'Best minibus'
Mr Linsell told the BBC a window has been smashed on the driver's side, part of the front number plate has been broken off, and the ignition system had been damaged.
He said they had now been able to recover the vehicle and get it back to Bridgnorth.
"At least we have got the bus back, which is a great relief," he said.
Mr Lindsell earlier described it as a the "best minibus" of its fleet and it was already struggling to replace one vehicle that had come to the end of its life.
The group said it was established to provide affordable, accessible transport to people in Bridgnorth and its surrounding areas who "have difficulty accessing other forms of transport".
