Whitchurch Cricket Club vandalised four times in a year

A Shropshire cricket club has launched an appeal to help it recover from repeated vandalism attacks on its clubhouse.
Whitchurch Cricket Club has been targeted four times since last autumn, each time suffering broken windows and doors.
The club has launched a crowdfund appeal for £3,000 to help pay for repairs and meet other bills.
It said its costs included increased security and lost hire revenue.
A 16-year-old girl had been arrested on suspicion of burglary and criminal damage, West Mercia Police said.
She was released on bail and made subject to a 12-month Community Protection Warning.
Club committee member Emma Portas told BBC Radio Shropshire the repeated attacks were "heart-breaking".
"We're all in pieces, because we give our heart and soul to the club," she said.
Ms Portas told how, on one occasion in the summer, refreshments laid out for a county match were showered with glass and had to be replaced.
The crowdfunding appeal was launched after the latest attack on 9 October.
The club said it faced a "major financial burden" and was having to spend money needed to equip its teams.
As well as repairs, the club said it wanted to install additional CCTV cameras and window shutters.
