The road over a listed sandstone bridge damaged in a crash is to be closed for repair work.

Morton Bridge, which carries the B4396 over the River Morda, south of Oswestry, is to close for the essential repairs from 21 November to 1 December.

The work will involve taking down and rebuilding a parapet and general pointing works, said Shropshire Council.

Traffic will be diverted from 09:30 until 16:00 GMT daily.
