Telford: Pedestrian dies after being struck by car

The crash happened on the A4169 near the junction of Lightmoor Road in Telford on Sunday
An 81-year-old man has died after he was struck by a car while he crossed the road.
West Mercia Police said it happened on the A4169 near to the junction of Lightmoor Road in Telford on Sunday at 10:25 GMT.
Police said the driver of the black Vauxhall Corsa involved was helping with the investigation.
The pedestrian was taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital where he died from his injuries.
The car's driver was unhurt.
Police have appealed for witnesses or those with dash cam footage of the area near the time to come forward.
