The ticket holder has until 14 July to claim their £1m prize

A Euromillions prize worth £1m has so far gone unclaimed.

The National Lottery said it was bought for the draw on 16 January by someone living in Shropshire.

The holder has until 14 July to claim their prize, which was won on the UK Millionaire Maker.

The ticket had the code XFKD 58687 and if the money is not claimed on time it will go to support lottery-funded projects.

The National Lottery said that if someone thinks they bought that ticket but have lost it, they can make claim in writing, as long as it is done within 30 days of the draw.

It said it would not reveal more precisely where the ticket was bought, to protect the identity of the potential winner.

It added it would only narrow it down to the name of a town if it has a population of more than 75,000.
