Globetrotting campervan pair plan next adventure

A couple who quit their jobs to tour the world in a camper van, spending 95 days in a Turkish carpark during the Covid pandemic, are returning home to plan their next adventure.
Chris and Marianne Fisher have visited 36 countries so far and plan to see five more before they get back in July.
Mr Fisher hopes to write a book about their experiences.
He is also exploring the possibility of a TV series before they leave again in October.
The couple, from Ironbridge in Shropshire, are currently in Thailand and recently visited Japan, which according to Mr Fisher has "the best toilets in the world".
Issues with visas, vehicle permits, coronavirus and the weather have forced them to adapt their plans along the way and Mrs Fisher said: "We all love a plan but it really doesn't work in this overland business."
The couple have also had a couple of brushes with the law and said they were recently pursued by the Malaysian Police after a misunderstanding led to claims they had tried to bribe an officer.
Describing themselves as "hapless tourists", Mrs Fisher said: "I'm a secretary, Chris was a catering manager. We bought a two-wheel drive van to drive around the world, how sensible do we sound?"
During their travels, the pair have built up an online following through YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, plus their own website, Tread the Globe, external.
They want to hold a ticketed homecoming party in September to support the turtle conservation project they set up on their travels.
But it will not be the end of their journey.
Mr Fisher said they were already planning their next adventures, adding: "We've got some mad ideas."
