Homecoming parade held in Taunton for 40 Commando

Almost 700 marines marched through Taunton town centre during the parade
Royal Marines from 40 Commando based in Somerset have marched through Taunton for their homecoming parade.
At the event Defence Secretary Dr Liam Fox spoke of their "professionalism and dedication to duty" during their tour in Afghanistan.
Prayers were also read out to remember the 14 lives lost during the six-month deployment in Sangin, Helmand province.
On Tuesday 40% of the unit received campaign medals at Norton Manor Camp having completed their tour.
Hundreds of people lined the streets to cheer on the marines in the wet, windy weather.
"It speaks volumes about respect and gratitude that so many people have turned out on a day like this for you," said Mr Fox.
"If you can brave the Taliban we can brave the weather."
The Duke of Edinburgh also handed the Elizabeth Cross to the families of the 14 marines who were killed in the latest deployment.
