Cash boost saves Somerset family support centres
- Published
A support service for children facing family break-ups in Somerset has been rescued after threat of closure.
The four centres, in Yeovil, Chard, Taunton and Wincanton, provide a neutral place for youngsters to meet one or both parents.
Their futures were in doubt when Relate Somerset - which used to run them - was wound up because of financial problems.
The centres have been given a £12,000 grant by the government and will be run by former Relate staff.
