Weston-super-Mare villages consultation to start

  • Published

People living in North Somerset are being asked for their views on plans for two new villages on the outskirts of Weston-super-Mare.

The council wants to build about 5,500 new homes on two former military sites.

The proposed communities, Winterstoke Village and Parklands Village, would be located on the former Weston Airfield and at the RAF Locking base.

The public consultation runs from 1 September to 12 October. Copies of the plans are also available in libraries.
