Huskies and other animals removed from Minehead property

Police have removed 56 husky dogs and a number of other animals following concerns about conditions at a property in Somerset.
A number of birds, cats and chinchillas were among other animals moved on veterinary advice from the property in Minehead.
The animals were passed into the care of the RSPCA on 17 October where they are receiving treatment.
An RSPCA statement said they would be kept and not immediately rehomed.
"As the animals are currently subject to an ongoing investigation we are not able to seek new homes for them," a spokesperson said.
