The attraction's manager says the fountain is "going down a treat"
Visitors to the Roman Baths are now able to drink Bath's famous spa water for free.
Before, visitors had to buy a glass of the "unusual tasting" water at the Pump Room restaurant, nextdoor to the World Heritage City's ancient attraction.
The council has installed a fountain in the West Baths, which the attraction's manager said was "going down a treat".
The water coming up now is believed to have fallen on the Mendip Hills 4,000 years ago.
