Bath Rugby Club has confirmed it is investigating an incident involving new signing Gavin Henson and other players in a city bar.

Police were called to the Pig and Fiddle following reports of "aggressive behaviour" on Wednesday night.

While the caller was on the phone to the police the group moved on so no officers were sent.

Bath Rugby Chief Executive Nick Blofeld said the evening was a "social thing" and was nothing to do with the club.

He said he was informed of the matter on Thursday and added he would be talking to the players involved on Friday.

The 31-year old has been capped 31 times by Wales and joined Bath Rugby in June after leaving London Welsh at the end of last season.
