Clevedon's Marine Lake restoration plans unveiled

Plans to restore a marine lake are being unveiled by North Somerset Council in a bid to secure funding.

The plan for Clevedon includes a promenade, strengthened sea wall, diving boards and paddling pool.

The aim is to get Heritage Lottery funding to restore the Marine Lake by August 2014 in time for the proposed Tides Festival.

Public displays are being held on Wednesday and Thursday at the Clevedon Town Council offices.
