The family of a 21-year-old university student who died after falling in the River Avon in Bath said his death has left them "completely devastated".

Christopher Taylor from Southport, Lancashire, was seen in distress in the water at Pine's Way on 23 January.

Rescue teams were able to speak to him but could not get him out before he went under the water again.

His family said he was a "wonderful brother and son" who "lit up every room he walked into".
