Trio defect from Lib Dems to UKIP
- Published
Three district councillors in Somerset have defected to the UK Independence Party - a month before elections.
Sharon Snook, Derek Tanswell and Adrian Dobinson were all previously members of the Liberal Democrats in Mendip.
Mr Dobinson was most recently an independent councillor but will now be standing for UKIP.
Daniel Unwin, from the Lib Dems, said: "They are clearly not supportive of the party and did not share the Liberal Democrat values."
