Suspected cannabis plants worth £180k seized in Weston-super-Mare

Officers found approximately 360 suspected cannabis plants

Police have seized hundreds of suspected cannabis plants in Weston-super-Mare with an estimated street value of £180,000.

Officers used a warrant to remove approximately 360 plants from a residential address in Longridge Way.

Police obtained the warrant following reports from the community.

Avon and Somerset Police said calls from the community had been invaluable to help "build up a picture of what has been going on behind closed doors".
