Fire crews remain on the scene working to dampen down hot spots.

The fire service and school have confirmed everyone was accounted for.

Darren French, Avon Fire and Rescue station commander said: "Unfortunately half of the roof has gone, half the school has gone.

"We don't think it was anything suspicious at the moment but we will find out in due course working with the police."
